His combined professional and educational experience make him uniquely qualified to be your Public Advocate – as the Public Advocate needs to be a legal leader that can keep both DeBlasio and City Agencies in check – ensuring that the needs of all New Yorkers are served.
Manny has entered the race because, like all of us, he’s fed up with the dysfunction of City Hall.

Manny will fight for all New Yorkers and be the true independent ombudsman holding Mayor de Blasio and the City Council accountable.

As Public Advocate, Manny’s focus will be on repairing the MTA, addressing the homelessness crisis and resolving the NYCHA Housing dilemma. As an Attorney and Public Advocate, Manny will use all legal means available to hold DeBlasio accountable and get NYC’ers the services they deserve.
